Precor 240i – Yoga Isn’t the Only Way to Stretch

The Precor 240i Stretch Trainer is used to promote flexibility, strength and general athletic performance. The seated position of its design ensures that you are in the correct posture for whichever muscle groups you are targeting. It has been engineered ergonomically to mimic the natural movements of the body giving it a fluid movement that effectively stretches muscles without the risk of injury. It is designed to be incorporated into every workout and provides short, ten minute stretching regimes that are beneficial for warming up and cooling down to reduce the chance of injury and to shorten recovery times.

The Precor 240i Stretch Trainer uses your own body weight to comfortably and effectively target specific muscle groups. This all but eliminates the chance of muscle injury while the ergonomic configuration of the machine keeps the spine correctly aligned to prevent any straining. Even though it has a very small footprint and a lightweight design its low center of gravity and durable construction make it stable to sit on and to use.

The qualified showroom staff at Fitness Expo can guide you through the list of exercises that are shown on the attached placard that has been developed to make it easy for you to target very specific muscle groups. This allows you to stretch the exact sets of muscles that you are going to use in other parts of your workout regime, increasing the overall effectiveness of any exercise program. There are eight essential exercises that are focused on the important areas of the body like the lower back, hamstrings or gluteal muscles that can be hard to reach.

The benefits of stretching are well known and the basic principles of using the Precor 240i are essentially the same as the ones that are used in yoga and Pilates. The use of your own body weight gives you many of the results of weight resistance training only on a smaller scale that is suitable for all ages and levels of fitness. Stretching is a natural low impact form of exercise that has a low risk of injury and the range of exercises on the Precor 240i means that yoga isn’t the only way to stretch.
