Tailor Your Workouts with Precor’s Adaptive Motion Trainer

Unlike most elliptical trainers, the Adaptive Motion Trainer (AMT) from Precor allows you to adjust your stride and speed as you exercise, without having to stop and reprogram the machine. This makes it easy to quickly adapt your workout regime on the fly to focus on those specific areas that you want to target on a daily basis. This flexibility gives the Precor AMT a wider range of versatility than a basic elliptical trainer.

That level of flexibility is enhanced by the contralateral arm movement that mimics a more natural movement, allowing you to engage a wider range of muscle groups for an all-body workout. There is also the ability to adjust the resistance of the AMT in two directions, increasing the effectiveness of the unique lateral motion that it makes possible. It also allows you to adjust the length of the stride with settings for up to 27 inches, making the machine able to adapt its motion to even the biggest users.

It has a low step-up height of five inches, but will go as high as 18 inches at the top of its motion range to ensure that it replicates a vigorous running stride equally as well as a slower pace. The unit has a maximum user weight of 350 pounds and the rust-resistant powder coated frame is sturdy enough for Precor to provide a seven-year warranty, giving you the confidence of knowing that it can continue to increase its performance at the same pace as your fitness level rises.

The experienced staff at all of the Fitness Expo showrooms can guide you through how to best set it up for your individual level of use. They can also help you to get started with using the included workout monitoring features so that you can begin to track your progress from the first time that you step onto this amazing machine. The control panel is intuitive and provides tap control to make it easier to use while you are working out so that you spend less time programming your AMT and more time working out on it.
