The Right Gym and Fitness Equipment for Working the Buttocks Out

The Right Gym and Fitness Equipment for Working the Buttocks Out

A main goal of exercise is to get rid of fat. Another would be to tone the muscles for them to be bigger, firmer and harder.  The second is just to complement the first. When fat is finally eliminated, it leaves behind empty space, causing the skin to sag and to be a bit wrinkly. Further exercising with the different gym and fitness equipment is done to hopefully make the muscles bigger so that it will take up the space left by fat. When this is done successfully, the person will then be called as someone with a ‘tight’  body. And this is quite attractive.

Because of the attractiveness that it brings, there are now a lot of exercises and a lot of gym and fitness equipment made to target the different muscle groups in the body. The most popular are those that target the abs and the biceps—considered to be the display muscles for both men and women. And there’s the biggest muscle group in the body—the buttocks. Admit it. You want this area to be very firm too. And this is just completely understandable. Who wouldn’t want to be called the one with the “sexy ass”?

So the question now would be what gym and fitness equipment would be best utilized if one wants to do workout that targets the butt area. The following are the suggested machines for you.

The Leg Press
Now, for those who do not know how to use this gym and fitness equipment yet, in order for you to get the most effective butt workout from this machine, lie flat on the place intended. Extend your legs but not too far that it would require you to lock your knees. Then place the weight against the sole of your feet. Feel the tension and then bend your knees until it forms an approximate of the 90-degree angle. Feel the tension for about 2-3 seconds and then push the weight back to the first position. Make at least ten but more than 15 reps.

The Abduction Machine
For you to understand better how this works, a description of how the machine would look like is perhaps needed. This gym and fitness equipment basically looks like a chair, only there are movable pads on both sides that are of the same height as your knees when you are seated. To perform the exercise, sit on the chair with your back parallel to the flat surface just behind it. Then, using your knees, push the pads outward and stretch your legs as wide as possible to really target the butt area. Do this for at least 15 but not more than 20 repetitions.

Discussed here are just two of the most common gym and fitness equipment that has been proven to be good work out partners when you are targeting your buttocks area.
